Our core business is the development, engineering, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance of tidal turbines. SABELLA is developing a range of medium-to-high power tidal stream turbines, to comply with the client’s requirements and the specific characteristics of each site of interest. SABELLA’s turbines are bottom-fixed, and maintained on the seabed by gravity-based foundations. The turbines are horizontal axis, similar to wind turbines but their simplicity and ruggedness allow for higher reliability and longer maintenance interval, thus reducing the costs of maintenance
