Carbo4Power M42 Meeting

Carbo4Power partner AIMEN Technological Centre,, welcomed the consortium to their premises for the M42 meeting. This meeting took place on 15-16 May 2024 in Vigo, Spain, where partners shared the development and achievements reached in the last 6 months. A highlight of this meeting was the presentation of the turbine blade demonstrator that has been developed within the project and manufactured by AIMEN.

The final demonstrator is almost 6 meters in length, and it is one of the new generations of durable, multifunctional and digitalized offshore turbine blades (wind and tidal turbines) that Carbo4Power has as objective to develop. Those will improve their operational performance and durability while reducing the cost of energy production, maintenance and their environmental impact.
